BIOGRAPHY

Born in Kraków, Poland. She made her conducting debut with Artur Malawski Philharmonic Orchestra in Rzeszów (Poland) in 2017. She received the gold award in the “Musical Eagles” International Competition in the “Conductor” category, awarded for outstanding artistic achievements realized in 2021.

She received her diplomas with Honours at Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków in both orchestral and choral conducting under the tutelage of Paweł Przytocki. As the scholarship recipient, she then continued her further studies in the class of Martin Brauss at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover, Germany. She has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned conductors and orchestras, such as the conducting masterclass with Daniele Gatti at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, and the conducting masterclass led by Marin Alsop with the Philharmonia Orchestra at the Southbank Centre in London. She also worked under the supervision of Eiji Oue, Luciano Acocella, Matthias Beckert, among others. In 2019, she was the semi-finalist of Jeunesses Musicales International Conducting Competition in Bucharest (2019).

Since making her conducting debut Kwarcińska had worked with European orchestras and choirs, including George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, Moldova Philharmonic Orchestra in Iași, Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic Orchestra in Łódź, Kraków Opera Orchestra, Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Artur Malawski Philharmonic Orchestra in Rzeszów, Pitești Philharmonic Orchestra, Witold Lutosławski Symphony Orchestra

in Płock, Sinfonietta Cracovia, CORda Cracovia Orchestra, Orchestra Senzaspine in Bologna and the Polish Radio Choir.

As both conductor and assistant she attended the prestigious international music festivals such as the Chigiana International Festival & Summer Academy in Siena, Sacrum Profanum Festival of Contemporary Music, Kraków Film Music Festival and Opera Rara Festival. In 2018 she performed at the inaugural concert of the Wawel Royal Castle at Dusk, conducting works by Krzysztof Penderecki, Wojciech Kilar and the premier of Nachtwanderung for orchestra by Paweł Malinowski. She performed then with the CORda Cracovia Orchestra, with whom she debuted at the New Year’s Concert in the concert hall of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR) in Katowice.

She is the initiator of numerous symphonic and chamber events, as well as world premieres. In 2016-2017, she led the “Parafraza” Chamber Choir, organizing choir and vocal-instrumental concerts in Kraków. Since 2017, she has been the co-founder and the conductor of the Jagiellonian University “All In Orchestra” Chamber Orchestra, bringing together students of the Jagiellonian University and other Kraków universities, including the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow.

Since 2022, she has been an artist of the Afflatus Ensemble (www.afflatusensemble.com) which associates young, talented musicians from around the world.

She is endowed with a unique talent […]. Her interpretations are full of passion and commitment, and they deserve to be called sovereign artistic creations. At the same time, she has an extraordinary conducting technique, which, combined with an insightful reading the intentions contained in the scores, predestines her to be the most interesting conducting personality of the young generation.
